Well, since I already posted in this sub board, I could as well post some sprites, so here we go: Mario and Pokémon sprites in Earthbound style, not Public Domain.

I notice how some of these characters resemble some characters from earthbound. especially in their faces and side sprites o.o
you pulled it off well :)

Wow, I'm loving these. You should do more!
You did the style very accurately, which is hard cause its not just copy/paspriting, you actually considered relative character design, nice.
I just beat Earthbound last week, so I'm digging these extra!

Maybe it's just me but Dawn and Oak's faces seem a little flat on the side sprites! Everything else seems quite all right to me though.
Earthbound sprites were never particularly advanced but they've got quite a unique look going for them, which I feel you've nailed pretty well. Ash in particular looks really cool!

I like all of them, the only thing is that Mario and Luigi look a little awkward, but they look alright. The only other thing is I guess the mouth's of Peach, Dawn and Misty.

First attempt of spriting classic Wario in Earthbound style. It was surprisingly difficult to cram all these little details that make Wario being Wario in such a tiny sprite, so all C&C will be welcome until I perfect this.
Once I get an acceptable Wario, I will attempt to sprite Waluigi and Bowser too.

Most EB attempts are pretty bad, but im pretty impressed by how theese turned out :>

Meowth failing to look menacing. (Original sprite, no style attempted to mimic.)
