MegamanX Project. Megaman 7 Engine - Azu - 10-26-2009 First off, big thanks to Snap's color shaders. You "rock" "man"! lol Requirements: Graphics card with Pixel Shader 2.0 Multimedia Fusion 2 HWA Endabled. The Shaders use 2.0 Pixel Shader. You need a Graphics card with at least a 2.0 pixel shader. You can look up your card to if has one. Otherwise you won't see the effects. MMF2/MMF12 Dev with Hwa installed. [============================] Megaman 7 Engine (Will be opened) [============================] This pretty much going to be a near replica engine of MM7, or the best I can get to anyway. Process Megaman 7-ish Engine:
Showing off the palette Shader Snap made. He's awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkFJeYkCvU4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFt9FXWIZSw [============================] Megaman X Engine (Might not be open source) [============================] Alpha Test of the MMX Engine. http://www.mediafire.com/?vznjzzn1z5w Controls Arrow keys = Move Z = Jump X = Shoot A/S = Switch weapons What's completed/In the works so far?
Needs to be done/haven't started?
Note#1: You will not see the color change if you do not have a graphics card with at least 2.0 pixel shader support. Note#2: There is music. Make a path likes this: Data/Mus/. In the music folder, drop a ogg file called "TestStage1". Note#3: I might bot do collect all the armor pieces. If I do, I msot like won't show the graphics for it. Don't rule the possibilty though. Above all, stay on topic. RE: Untitled MegamanX Project - Vipershark - 10-26-2009 I didn't know you made this. I saw the video on Youtube a week or so ago. Good luck. RE: Untitled MegamanX Project: Video Update soon. - Azu - 10-27-2009 New video. As of Oct 27, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkPCiQN_pFw RE: Untitled MegamanX Project: Video Update soon. - Vipershark - 10-27-2009 So, what exactly is Construct? RE: Untitled MegamanX Project: Video Update soon. - Azu - 10-27-2009 A better (IMO) MMF2 clone. Mockup of the charged version. RE: Untitled MegamanX Project: Video Update soon. - Ekoi - 10-30-2009 Ice Tracer looks way too overpowered in it's uncharged state. I advise shrinking the crystals a bit and spacing them further from each other. Removing the ability to rapidly fire it could also make it feel more valuable to the player. RE: Untitled MegamanX Project: Video Update soon. - Azu - 10-31-2009 That's why it's a hidden powerup. RE: Untitled MegamanX Project: Video Update soon. - Azu - 11-02-2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoqqRuQIs_Y RE: MegamanX Project. Megaman 7 Engine - Azu - 12-02-2009 Updated. RE: MegamanX Project. Megaman 7 Engine - Codestar - 12-02-2009 horribly overpowered. RE: MegamanX Project. Megaman 7 Engine - TomGuycott - 12-02-2009 Even if every shot was on the screen for less time, and even if each shard didn't repeatedly damage objects, and even if each shard only did one damage each, it'd still probably be overpowered, even for a secret weapon... This kind of weapon would have to be something like the last possible thing you could find in the game. RE: MegamanX Project. Megaman 7 Engine - Azu - 12-02-2009 It's just test weapons. |
