Yeah, I'm pretty sure Shukaku used spells and did more than just stand there.
I mean, I remember Asuma being a single sprite that didn't move, but I can definitely recall Shukaku opening its mouth or his hand popping out of the ground. :/

No, Actually, He only had 1 pose in Naruto Path of the Ninja 2.
He never opened his mouth at all.

Oh my, seems I made a mistake. I got so caught up in making the sheet, I got mixed up with the names.
