They want games to be they way they want it to be. If something goes wrong or against their style, they freak out because they aren't used to it. Somtimes, the opposite is true and they don't want somthing to be too repetitive.

Those people don't care about progress, they care about originality. But at the same time; it can't be original, it has to be progressive.

yeah um TP definitely wasn't an OOT remake
just because it looked realistic and just happened to include adult link does not mean OOT

The graphical style means nothing.
Majora's Mask was vastly superior to Ocarina of Time and they shared the same graphical style.
