Are you sure these are ripped correctly? They each look like textures of Cream's appearance from SADX, but recolored.

They each look like textures of Cream's appearance from SADX, but recolored. this is exactly how they were inside the texture file. maybe sonic heroes's char style is copied from cream? all those little 8X8 colors around the eye are the skin & fur textures. SH2 had really high poly models, they could just have a texture for each color.

Yeah he's right. For the characters, shading was done ingame which is why they didn't need large skin and fur textures. I'd guess this was also done so that the game would have more memory to render 3 characters with decent polygon counts at once.

For example Charmy is labelled Bee, is that how it is named in the actual textures.
