Nah, I don't think so. The smart guys are annoying indeed, but at least ONE post was useful and I'm working on it to fix the body shape based on that it said. The boobs and curves are difficult because as I said lots of times, Misty does NOT have femenine forms and does NOT behaves in a girly way either, so the problem is making a sprite that could resemble her both in shape AND body language. (May and Dawn are a different case, and the first one is way curvier than Misty and the second one is way more femenine on her stances and motions, so they are way easier to sprite.)

Metaru, the "what the fuck is wrong with you" is actually my line. You used to give good and concise criticism by pointing directly at the flaws you could see, but somewhere during the year you got your head stuck up your ass and replied to everything with a generic "I don't like the style so it sucks" like a scratched record, AND began to bitch at the spriters instead of the sprites themselves.
How old are you anyways? Your spelling and grammar are terrible so I guess you are on your late teens as much, but your grasp of the language and ability to construct long phrases makes me guess you are like, I don't know, thirty or more.

The major problem here maybe isn't Misty, but more like 'do something else'. I know, those sprites are good as they are, but don't be afraid to experiment. Make different things, use different techniques, etc. That's your major flaw imo.

Another thing, saying that only ONE comment was useful is bullshit. Most C+Cs in this site come bluntly so you'll need to actually use your brain to solve your problems, which is a better way of improving than spoonfeeding every single flaw for you (everything I said is well-covered in this thread http://www.spriters-resource.com/communi...?tid=13748 ; read it if you hasn't yet). So don't disregard them just because they don't have a single instance of sugarcoating.

Now, the criticism part: the sprites are better viewed in 1x because it's the native size. 2x makes finding readability issues in your sprite harder. Other than that, it's fine.

About NGP Misty, you should make her smaller than the average NGP sprites because, well, she's 12 and most characters in that size are (or look) older than her. Other criticisms still stand valid, though.

I understand your point about reading the crits beyond the asshatery, but shit like this is not helpful at all, bro. Neither repeating what other people already said to look "cool". (If Iceman had added his own two cents instead of playing MeToo to Metaru's comments, it would have been a different story.)

The first one was kinda uncalled for, I admit, but the second one contains a valid point. Your colors aren't attractive at all and the black outline, as Metaru said several times, limits the readability and 'eats up' space. Try using colored outlines instead of black lines and try applying hueshift in your shades.

have you ever considered this relationship: comments tend to get more aggressive or hostile over the course of time, in instances like this; and this is because of the fact that previously mentioned critique - often valid - was ignored. or you tried to bullshit your way out of it.

if people know that the effort doesn't mean much, they're not going to put that much effort in - and if your attitude remains as haughty as it has been, then it is only natural for the majority of the comments to begin to reflect that.

but you really want crits, so they give you crits. they're just not going to put the effort into the crits until you put in the effort to comprehend, dissect and attempt to apply them in some manner.
