I just realized that Game Freak probably won't make Pokemon Grey, because they mentioned in an interview that the game is about contrast, and opposites, so going on this theme I don't think they will make a game half way between both games.

if there is something that the majority of pokemon games have in common since R/S/E, it's that the mascots are based off of concepts that have at least three things.

In B/W, the concept is Yin-Yang, so in order for it to be complete there is bound to be Wuji (which means Infinite in the concept). So it seems pretty inevitable it will happen

No. Game Freak will have announced to Japan anything about new games first before the western world. Also, it is still too soon after the release of B/W to be announcing new games.

Clearly, Pokemon Grey has to be made to solve these disputes. There's no doubt that there will be a third version, as there is Pokemon Blue(JP), Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum to tie up loose ends. Also B/W's plot has many holes: for instance, the Shadow Triad look like at first they would actually be characters significant to the plot, but we gradually find out that they're just there and do absolutely nothing. Concordia and Anthea are considered important enough to receive their own unique overworld sprites and even appear in full detailed art in the intro movie, yet you have no idea they exist until the very end of the game.

I remember reading in an article that Bulbapedia linked to, it took them a year to develop the plot and characters. I have a feeling that the plot we see in B/W is only part of the actual plot they wrote, and that we will be seeing what they really wrote in B/W's third installment, where the Shadow Triad, Concordia, and Anthea will actually have a purpose, along with Kyurem who is no doubt related to Reshiram and Zekrom, considering how Kyurem doesn't use the generic legendary theme, but instead uses Reshiram/Zekrom's battle theme.

i dont really see the point of a R/S/E remake, but since nintendo officially killed the gba by killing the ds lite, it wont be a bad idea

Just some ideas for what gray version will probably have:
-Anything that was on the eastern side of Unova will be accessible earlier in the game
-The regional pokedex will be expanded like platinum's was
-A Battle Frontier
-You can actually battle the sages and the shadow triad
-Gym leaders, Ghetsis, and the elite four sprites, animated
-hopefully, they will bring back OW pokemon following your charactrer, I loved that feature in HG/SS and I honestly wished it came back.
-The old rod and good rod (Or whatever the second one is), they existed in B/W's data so I don't see why those two things can't be brought back.

Not all of this is bound to happen but to be honest with you they seem realistic enough. (E:this and some of the things mentioned above in chaos rush's post.)
