Sonic Generations Models

Well since i had no idea how to use the Icon maker. (I don't seriously)
Me and my mate decided to upload some models from Sonic Generations.
To start off with, Knuckles.

I'm surprised more people haven't submitted models from this game yet, considering how new the game is and the quality of the models.

As for the submission itself, I'm afraid it's a little... underwhelming. With the new tool out for dumping the fully rigged .DAE, a boneless .OBJ feels like a let down. Plus, you only included a fraction of the textures that belong to the model. And with someone else already in the process of ripping complete fully-rigged models from the game, I'm going to have to turn this submission down. Thanks for trying, though!


I recommend taking another chance at learning to use the Icon Maker. It's really easy to learn if you look at the menus.

Ok at least i tried. Is anyone ripping the textures from this game aswell?
Plus if i do submit more models i'll try and get the best quality.

For textures, you'd have to check the Textures Resource section to see. From what I've seen of the textures, though, they're fantastic and would be great to have on the site. The fact that most of them have normal maps to go with them makes them even more useful.

If I recall correctly, those are 2much's rips from over at The Sonic Stadium, and they don't have rigging either. Cheese is also missing his mouth textures and several eye sets, too, for example.

If you don't mind me asking, who's going to be submitting them here? I've got them all on my computer (fully rigged and everything) since I'm working on porting them to GMod.

Main reason I'm asking is because it's my favourite game series and I'd really like to submit the models myself. But if someone else already claimed 'em to upload 'em here, I won't do it. If you guys did want me to I'd get it done as soon as tomorrow night. Naturally I'd fix all of the smoothing groups and any errors that are due to the exporter.
