yo
thank you i did not know that, in arguing whether or not the art design in skyrim is creative, that i was also not arguing whether or not the game is fun.

In all honesty I am disappointed in the amount of enemies Skyrim has. Even with out the expansion packs, Oblivion had a fair amount of enemies, what I can remember anyway. Skyrim seems to have focused a lot more attention on boss like characters, as in making them bigger and harder/longer to take down. While seeing a herd of Mammoths initially is impressive, after like the third time it's just annoying because by now you realize you aren't supposed to take them down unless you're looking to get wrecked. Dragons too, they're annoying after a while. My game must be cursed or something, because none of my friends are having this issue, but literally every 15-45 minutes I encounter 1 to 3 dragons at a shot in the wild, at one point i was fighting two, was running a way and yes a third one showed up.

I just feel like they thought supersizing the enemies was a good idea, rather than the supersizing the variation and design of the them. Not really a swift decision.
Still love the game though.

EDIT: Oh and for all the emphasis on dragons in this game, very few are strikingly different from the others, including the main villian. Literally I had trouble distinguishing him from the good one on the top of the mountain battle, that just shouldn't be with characters that important. Also the Th'um in general seems pointless. It's just an extra spell that doesn't suck up any magicka, I would be totally ok if that wasn't an ability. Every single shout you can get, would work just as well if it was shot from your hands rather than your mouth.
However I hear it's much better to be a vampire now than in oblivion, and that it really does change the game into a completely different one if you become one. I might have to think about contracting vampirism, but after the shit storm and game restricting feature it was in oblivion i'm still wary. The werewolf transformation is nice though, free from diseases, able to tear apart a section of a dungeon or enemy camp with ease and in general has no real limits. Sure you are weaker to silver weapons but those aren't nearly as common as they were in oblivion and people won't notice you are a beast unless you transform in front of them so they won't avoid you or attack you, like they would if you were a vampire. You also don't burst into flame if you walk outside during the day, if you haven't fed the night before (which I hear still happens, just not as quickly as it would in oblivion).

Eh just a few things I've been thinking about.

Maybe if this makes skyrim a more like a finished game I'll get it. Because I was really disappointed with how half assed skyrim was out of the box. I'll wait till a friend get's it, muck around with it and then make a decision.

as long as the DLC is free, i'll get it (despite 3-15 minute loading times)

...and to further embarrass myself, i bet it says its free in the video.

I doubt it is, but I for one look very forward to this, I've been enjoying Skyrim, and some more content shall kick ass.
