front limbs seem way too fat. Look at an actual rat, and try and base his anatomy off of that?

You should try and imagine the pose you're drawing in 3d before actually drawing it, cause most of what you draw atm looks really flat, even with shading.
Also, using lines of actions and force curves to exaggerate your poses would be great.
