A war vs Viacom(or how five characters return youtube back to the way it was)

But no seriously, What on earth is the point of all this?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the idea of the game here. But I'm a little confused with how you're approaching this game OP. So far you want the story to be about how much Viacom held a huge shit fit with youtube and started pulling copyright claims on youtube a good 8 or 9 years ago and throwing in random characters in the game.

I mean, for all I care you could make a game out of something relevant with youtube in the present day, like the copyright bullshit that's been going on between lets play people and video game companies. And you can still have characters like scout, luigi, kolana or whoever you want in there and you could probably throw in EgoRaptor, Rubber Ninja, Jon Tron, and Oney and you might just get away with it.

It's not that I think it's a bad idea, but your pulling crap out of your ass and putting it on an idea board without really thinking about this. I've been in this position before kid, and if you ignore the criticism people give you OP you will end up getting a lot of heat on you for your ideas. And I honestly have to say this sounds like something an 11 year old kid would make up so far.

Trust me here OP, listen to what others say and don't bother trying to ignore them or defend your self with some random idea like Viacom being a group of terrorists... Unless you want to make it so that PeTA is a terrorist organization that isn't taken seriously. That would actually be kind of funny.

Well,it's more like Pokemon Rumble,Mega Man Legends,Cave Story,or The Legend of Zelda,where you fight enemies directly,but you have a party and swappable members.

i'm pretty sure if the game contains characters from existing franchises, this option is almost pointless

I don't think the "Don't Care" thing is a worthwhile gameplay mechanic, especially not in the case of a favorite food. In fact, what's the point of a favorite food in an aventure game? For the name screen, you should just have a default value, like the way the new Zelda game's default to Link and just let you erase and type in a new name. Simple. Done. Move on.

How about you start defining the more important parts of the game. So far, you've given us a list of different games that this one will be like, but those games have different gameplay. At this rate, you may as well name the game New Super Mega Klonoa Bros Legends 2: Spyro's Birthstone of the Space Core. Guest starring Wheatley as Dr. Eggman's head.

So far, there were no actual game developing. Not in plot, not in gameplay, not in anything save for Mother 3 edits. All I saw were a bunch of nonsense that I'm still trying to wrap my head around. It has a mix of characters fighting against something you dont like for some reason and the game is an action RPG. idk man

It's not that the game is going to be inherently bad, but this is not design at all. There was not a single thought about each part, each facet of game-making in this. You're literally coming up with raw ideas and pasting them without care in this mass of raw ideas. So far I don't even know how the game is going to play, or anything that really sticks out from this game, aside from the nonsense, painfully mary sue plot/design.
