I would post a sheet with all the enemies but it's HUGE. so here's just a lineup with every enemy sprited thus far-

I also found a workaround for the curved pipe. using the arcade pipe as reference, it's actually supposed to be longer.

I've also given each enemy new hurt poses- one for being burnt, one for being frozen.

each enemy also has a new turning pose. it animates better than just having a facing forward pose.

Really loving the Koopa, though I think it would look better if both of its eyes were the same shade of white.

I dunno. I prefer the back eye being grey, it helps with the depth. otherwise it just looks like one big eye like Sonic's

mostly it's for fun, but sometime in the middle of spriting enemies, I started a project with a few friends called Mario Bros. DDX. you can find more information about it here, but for now, here's a logo

yea, Waluigi in general is heavy WIP. it's hard to get him to look right in a 32x32 space because of how tall he is

here's a picture of what the character select would look like. when you aren't set to ready, your background will be black. but when everyone is ready...

(note that the background isn't final, I'll probably make an original design for it. the pipes around each character are the color of the current palette, and the background represents the player color.)

I feel like the bricks in the menu background should be a bit darker, they kind if steal the show right now, and make the menu look too cluttered. Additionally I agree with slapbadmine about the koopa's eye, the grey is a tad intense. Otherwise everything looks great, your sprites have a ton of character, and those menu portraits are fantastic.

how's this? this would actually solve my problem because I felt just having the background flash was kinda weird, so having the bricks get a little brighter too helps fix that

I also found a happy medium with the Koopas, I kept a pixel above one of the pupils that separates the eyes. I think it looks better now

Wario and Waluigi's teeth would could use either an outline to separate them from the skin more or an overall skintone darkening. Otherwise, they're tough to make out (at 1x anyways).
Wario could probably also use an outline where his glove meets his arm (just the darker yellow shade though); it might not be quite in style with the others, but it'd really help his hands stand out.
