It's not, the data on the original disc only had text data pertaining to Tingle. Apparently, Zelda's director encouraged them NOT to use Tingle as part of the main game, which I think was a good decision. As non-story DLC, though, he's perfect.

Gradually they have found more hidden data as they update the game, but at that point it makes sense, because the DLC it belongs to was already announced, so it is no surprise they are working on it and it exists in the game data. One example is the Clock Town music for the Adventure Map was found when the Twilight Princess pack was updated.

Sorry for double posting, but they released info based on a Famitsu article or something that reveals a lot of information about the upcoming pack.

You know what will make for some hilarious DLC? Mascot-styled costumes of Toon Link, Toon Zelda, and Deku Link. Their big heads are prefect for that role! XD

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!

So there's a lot of info being leaked by this guy who cracked the game after the latest update to 1.5. Obviously, lots of spoilers, so keep clear if you don't want to know what the pack has in store.

more info added to adventure mode, total dmg is shown, and you can restart without returning to the map

FINALLY

okay the other day I started playing Adventure mode for real and holy shit I honestly cannot stop playing this game. At the same time it's also mega fucking frustrating. There's many times where I've got the enemy commander down to two pixels of health and lose my base, failing the mission and pissing me off to no end (I know, this is due to poor resource management on my part)
I haven't been this engrossed by a game and challeneged this hard since I was like, a kid. I love it.

I do have some questions for the more Warriors-inclined people posting here:

- Zelda's level 2 baton mission should really not be this hard. My Zelda's lv58, and my best weapon's a 392 rapier. The part that always gets me about this mission is the damage management - I typically bumrush the Rogue captain (prompting the other mission to defeat the commander) and through just standard fighting, my allied base is bumrushed by the Enemy captains (Volga and Wizzro).  I've tried getting there before they storm the base and abuse its chokepoint, spamming my specials to whittle down their HP, but somehow, I managed to get tagged by Wizzro's abilities which just chunk my lifebar, blowing the mission and leaving me frustrated as I have to quit and restart. :/

- What level should my characters be to tackle the Master Quest maps? Twilight?
Master Quest is pretty managable with even my lowest characters (Volga, level 16, can still wreck shit in Master Quest), but Twilight's first mission, with a Sol Shackle and lv50 Midna seems nigh impossible, unless I can't figure out where the magic circle is to whittle down King Bulbin, etc. :/ I imagine more of the Twilight maps are like this, so I might as well ask your collective advice as to what level they should be before trying it for real.

For most of Zelda's missions you'll want to kill as many MINOR captains as you can and clear as many keeps as you can. Make sure you are good on time, though. THEN complete the objective and go for the commander. Usually this works as long as you do enough damage, but I remember being as high as level 70 for later Zelda missions.

Master Quest is supposed to be a mirror in a way of the standard map, so a lot of the least difficult stages are early and the harder ones very far out. This map also has the best map for early grinding at the most bottom left tile.

The Twilight map is made for levels 100-150. However, you CAN clear below that level, you just have your work cut out for you. A recent study on the effects of leveling on your defense seemed to prove that leveling up DOES increase your defense. Even if the enemies hit hard, the slightest defense increase can be the difference between victory and defeat.

Lastly, a reminder about the twilight map: most enemies have double their usual drops, and if you A Rank a map, it becomes open to all characters even if it was once limited. This is especially useful for the Divisive Plans missions, because these become the primary grinding levels. The levels with Zant and with Gi will level up your light and darkness characters REALLY fast.

Edit: Almost forgot. If a mission is giving you crap, try using the mixture that gives you unlimited Light Arrows. I think it also gives you your character's element (maybe only if you have the Element+ skill attached, I haven't studied it), because when I used them as Zant they kept doing Darkness damage.

Edit2: A new model of what is assumed to be a new NPC captain has surfaced:

Played a few maps on Termina and I'm surprised that it's way easier then the Twilight Map.

Also played as Young Link, seems like he is moving faster then other chars but has a poor weapon range.

I must warn you that some do suffer from "Twilight Map syndrome". It's not the majority, so that's a plus.

I've been playing non-stop, trying to get all Masks. Just 5 to go. Navigating is way more annoying and linear than it looks. I've been sent forth and back, because some mask items require other mask items.

Got all Masks! Oh, and Zelda's 8-bit Baton. I had to grind her to level 140 to get it. Thank God I didn't have to be under 4000 damage for an A Rank. I tried it when she was at level 90, but failed because I couldn't kill the commander fast enough. Pro tip: Know when it's the right time to abandon your teammates. Trying to keep them safe ultimately takes too much time. Same struggles with Darunia. I really hate to have to grind with him to level him up. I have a headache from grinding with Zelda already Ded

With the DLC releasing in two days here, I'm getting more and more excited to know what the two new game modes of the Boss Pack are.

What I'm also hoping is that they make weapons interchangeable between certain characters. The Adventure maps have made it clear that most models can use the Hylian Swords, even odd models like Midna. The only ones I really haven't seen and can't see easily working because of how they are likely rigged is Ruto, Darunia and Wizzro in terms of characters, and Midna's shackle being one of the least plausible weapons, as it has an... alarming effect on other character models.

I'm hoping they make Ganondorf, Ghirahim and Zant's weapons interchangeable in some degree, Ghirahim's no doubt being the hardest because of his unique facial animations. The Adventure Maps already feature Zant and Ghirahim using Ganondorf's swords, though.

Also, before the new pack drops, I'm farming 8 slot 5 star weapons and having surprising success. Divisive Plans missions in the Twilight Map have given the best and fastest results. High level ones, mind you.

Thanks to the new level cap of 200, I got Link's 8-bit Gauntlets. I like it more than I thought I would. I'll neglect it because of the Master Sword regardless.

I LOOOOOVE this new pack. In terms of gameplay, I would definitely consider the Termina Map the crown jewel of the Adventure maps.
