I feel sorry for THAT intruder...
But what if it was someone with the same or better training?
there is no better training, not that I've seen. If they had the same training though, then I would be ecstatic! Finally someone to challenge my formidable skill!
In the end I think it would come down to who has the best reach

Yeah, I suppose that makes sense.
I'm not sure I'd look at a life-threatening situation as an exciting challenge, though...lol
I like challenges, but not when the stakes are really high...XD

I'll punch him in the face on his face.
i'd offer him a cigarette and let him keep my lighter
i mean, that's why he's breaking into my house in the first place, right

one thing they teach us in Navy Seals training is that you should never go looking for a fight, only use combat as a last resort
it's something I struggle with every day

Hide. Like I'm not going to confront this guy and get stabbed. Take my PS4, I don't care. My saves are on the cloud and I have insurance.

one of my friends said he confronted an intruder with a shotgun one time. needless to say, that intruder left.
something that annoys me about the insurance thing, though, money cannot ever replace some of this stuff. doesn't matter if you had all the money in the world, it's physically impossible to replace family photos with a now dead relative, or from a place you will never be able to visit again, etc... that kind of event also destroys one's peace of mind.

The thing about that though is I highly doubt someone who goes so far as to break into your home is interested in a few family photos.

Insurance can never claim a life back either if you end up dead. Better to try and claim the stuff back.

and it's safe to say the majority of them either don't or can't back them up for whatever reason

Either that, or challenge him to a Pokemon battle over WiFi. At least then, you can get Prize Money S=).
