#76
Hi.

Gonna make some fixes on the tool, by the end of the weekend will have a hotfix version.
OBJ exporter will be fixed, and the option to debug the triangles will be removed.

Looking forward to the update - I'll start having a little explore of my own once you release it. See what can be found!
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

I was working on .TOD animation format, but didn´t included it on the source, neither the executable, as it still very experimental, had plans to adapt the .HMD file format too, which seems to be used on a lot of games, and can contains animations too. But got fired from my job on December, since then, I'm doing some freelance to pay my bills, so not much time left for PsxPrev.

As soon as I can, I'll finish the .TOD reading and update the source and executable.

The update will fix some bugs and fix the framerate (which isn´t reaching 60FPS on most cases).

Thanks for creating this tool! I'm very new to this process, so apologies for knowing nothing.
My goal is to pull the models from the PS1 Spice Girls Spice World Game, but your program has not been able to pull any TMD files out of it.
I was able to get several TIM files which looked like it worked fine for the textures, but I get the following error when scanning for TMD files, then after a while the program eventually closes with no further output. I tried running it first on a machine with 8 GB RAM, then on a server with (I think) 130 GB RAM and both gave the same errors.
Do you have any advice on how to get the models from this ISO?

Code:
Scanning for TMD Models at file C:\Spice World (USA)\Spice World (USA).bin
System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.

You'll have to extract the files from the disc and scan those instead of the whole thing. Try using JPSX to do it.

Or you can mount the image and scan the files from there but for whatever reason that doesn't work for me, but I think it's supposed to.

Thanks for the advice, I tried to do it and am not having much luck.
Do you have a link for JPSX? I was unable to find the source code and one version I found on a mediafire link gave errors about unable to read a configuration file.
I'm on a windows 7 machine

Oh wow. that's a nice little program. I was able to get much cleaner rips of the images, and also the video and audio that's on the image.
Still haven't been able to find any TMD files or models as far as I can tell. But by either mounting the image or browsing within jPSXdec, there doesn't seem to be any files leftover that are being used for the models. It's strange.
Thanks for your help!

Can't seem to get Pac-Man World working on this. Then again everything texture/model/sound from anything but the arcade game in the rom may be encrypted or packed.

This should probably help with LSD's model corruptions.

https://transfer.sh/UUSZk/lsdtrip.rar

This should probably help more. It contains the unused Dog model (https://tcrf.net/images/b/b1/Lsd_dog.png), and the different ECT files exported by PSXPrev and jPSXdec (CORRUPT and ORIGINAL specifically)

Gundress has some TMD models and a few work, like a camera and a rocket, but most are jarbled.

However, there's also a TXT log of some model export program with some info about the models on the disc that maybe you can use to expand PSXPrev.
