Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ripping Project
How do I export things properly in 3ds Max? I want to try contributing on Models Resource with stages, but I've tried exporting something in .dae and .fbx and when I import it into another program it looks wrong. This is some of Moray Towers's car models in .dae format in Autodesk FBX Review (basically a model viewer)

Any specific settings to change, and what format works the best? If I do .obj which I'm most used to I lose stuff like rigs and animations I think?

They're rotated to face up. Just rotate it 90 degrees on the X axis.

That isn't really the problem, it's the textures being incorrectly overlapped with each other.

Why is Joker called "Jack" in the game's files?

To hide the identity from people peeking into the code. Same reason we still don't know who "Jane" and "Brave" are.

Hey since my last post, i found out that the program i needed was StudioSB. All of the shaders and textures looks exactly like it does in-game. How would i get this look in Blender?

Just a Curious Question. Will some of the Fighter Models (Like Pit, Joker, and if Possible, Dark Pit) be ported to Garry's Mod as Ragdoll Models with their Alts as Bodygroups?

Version 1.3.1 release only deals with the NUANMB importer to fix importing visibility tracks. Upgrade if you import visibility tracks; everything else remains unchanged since the last release.
Also,worldblender. are your smash ultimate models rigged? i'd love to port them to mmd with your permission!

First point, yes, the models are fully rigged. They can be posed right away after import, and unless I ever explicitly said otherwise, you can go ahead and port the models to whatever you're using them for. What does that mmd stand for? I might get interested if you can tell me more about that.

Second point, some of my repositories, including the one at https://gitlab.com/Worldblender/smash-ul...s-exported, use Git Large File Storage (LFS), in order to keep the repository sizes more manageable. See https://git-lfs.github.com/ for more information and how to get the client. Unfortunately, this isn't obvious to all people who come to that repository, but being aware of Git LFS is necessary to complete the download of its files. What happened is that pointers are left in place of the real files, in order to save people from downloading so much data at once. Once Git LFS is used to download the real files, the pointers are replaced with them, nothing else required after that.

Pardon me for asking again though I'm gonna make my words clearer here. After importing a model into 3ds Max and turning it the right way up, what steps should I follow in the dialog box in order to export it properly, and what format should it be in?

Are you using the command-line program, or a GUI (which you have to tell me the name of)? Since you cloned a copy of my repository already, use one or both of the following commands to fetch the files (the commands assume that you opened a shell at the directory of the repository):

Code:
* git pull
* git lfs checkout
If that didn't work completely, there is builtin help for Git and Git LFS, accessible by appending " --help".

You either have to use "cd <path to the repository>", or append after "git" " -C <path to the repository> <actions>". What operating system are you using?
