I'm also in need of Sharpedo, but he won't appear until the sequel. There are many others, but I can't think of them right now.

Chapter 0: The Pilot, Part II
???: Alright! Now, before you're sent into the Pokemon world, you must choose a partner to stand by your side.
Hero: Hmmm... *looks over roster* I want... Pikachu!
???: WHAT?! I thought you said Pikachu sucks!
Hero: Oh, that. What I meant was, Pikachu sucks as a starter, but as a buddy, he's pretty awesome.
???: ...Just...freaking...go...
Hero: WAAAH!!! *warped*
???: Ugh! My aching head... *goes for a cup of coffee*
