I think it could be good to put more movement in the little sprout antenna thing, and the body. a lot of the animations just have the head moving but it makes everything else look really stiff.
for the attacking sprite, for example, you could have the pikmin bend its antenna back, then whip its head forward, complete with the antenna moving down with it in one clean sweep.
