Did anyone even buy the GBA Micro? I guess now that the new DS systems can't play GBA games it actually has a use.
But this will be the 5th DS. There were 2 GBs, 2 GBCs (if the GBC Light counts as a different system) and 3 GBAs. And the GB, GBC and GBA were all different consoles, not just simply upgrades.
Now if the 3DS (what a crap name, doesn't even make sense) is a new console and not just another DS then it'll be a new family in my eyes. But still, they really are just cashing in on this. Making things smaller, bigger, with a camera and now with 3D. And I bet my left testicle that this still isn't going to be as powerful as the PSP.
Looking forward to the DSiXL-Lite, the 3DS-Lite, the 3DSXL and the 3DSXL-Lite. What's next, the DS-Pad?
What Nintendo say and what it turns out to be are two different things though. I'm still guessing that most games will be for the DS but will have "special enhancements" for the 3DS.

Quote:And the 3DS has already been confired to be a new console with different hardware to the DS. But with backwards compatibility.
