Still if there was a really good answer as to why the DK cast doesn't get the love like cast of other Nintendo titles I'd appreciate this

Rareware.
It's Rareware.
They made all of the good Donkey Kong games.
But it's been about 10 years since they made one.
And Nintendo tried to make them again.
And they didn't match up.

Nintendo just didn't put any effort into make him a huge character, where as Rare did. Rare leaves; goes back to Nintendo; Nintendo makes more spinoffs.
