Whoa, that's pretty slick.
The biggest problem I'm seeing with it so far is colour temperature, though. In that regard, the main bulk of the boat doesn't need changing- everything's cold-coloured, getting warmer towards the figurehead, which makes it into a nice focal point. +10 points for that!
Buuuuut~
The moon (and it's reflection) are also warm colours, so the eye also gets drawn into those corners, and there's nothing that really leads the eye back into the piece. I'd suggest making it more of a pale greeny colour, similar to the rest of the background.
It might also do to knock back the mountains in the background a bit by shifting them a little more towards your background colour - that's the magic of AERIAL PERSPECTIVE. The further away something is, the lower the contrast is between it and the sky. Check it:
