Might sound like a big job but the formats are actually pretty simple and if we find a programmer to do this, it wouldn't be as massive challenge as one might expect, pretty straightforward.

I'd be glad to be that programmer. I actually had a look at what you linked to in your previous post, but it wasn't enough to actually do much with. If the document you're working on now is complete enough though, I can probably whip something up. I might even be able make it with a GUI to sort of allow people to browse through the sprites.
