Default Controls:
Move: Arrow keys
Duck: Down Arrow key
Jump: X key
Attack: C key
Pause: Z key

In menus:
Move: Arrow keys
Select an option: X key (or Enter)
Return to previous menu: C key

The controls can be accessed and customized within the Options menu.

Moves:
SoL has a number of different moves at his disposal; the player will need to master the use of each one in order to survive.
Jump: By pressing the Jump button, SoL can leap into the air over two-block-tall obstacles, enemies, and pits.
Duck: SoL crouches into a lower position to fit through one-block-tall gaps when the player holds down the Down Arrow key. He can still move and jump while ducking, though he cannot start climbing if he's ducking.
Climb and Walljump: SoL can climb up walls by jumping at them and holding the direction towards that wall. While climbing, the player can jump off that wall by pressing jump. SoL will automatically climb up when he reaches the top of the wall.
Paint Attacks: The following moves require paint and cannot be used if the player has no paint.
Swing Paintbrush: SoL can swing his giant paintbrush forward with the Attack button, and any enemy he hits will be painted green and therefore be harmless. The player can continue pressing the Attack button while standing for larger sweeps, and can also swing the brush while ducking. However, while swinging the paintbrush alone costs nothing, if any enemies are hit, the player will lose half a drop of paint for each one.
Spin Attacks: By holding the Attack button, SoL will charge up. Once the player is fully charged, releasing the button will unleash a spinning attack. Similarly, pressing the Jump button while charged will send SoL into a spinning jump attack!
Paint Shot: Meanwhile, if the player presses left or right after charging, SoL will shoot a large ball of paint in that direction; it can be further aimed by holding up or down at the same time. This attack costs paint whether it connects with an enemy or not.
Paint Platform: If the player holds the Up Arrow key while pressing the Attack button, SoL will create a platform made of paint that he can stand on at the cost of one half-drop of paint.

Items:
Along the way, a few different items will occasionally appear to aid SoL. Touch them to pick them up and gain 1000 points quick and easily!
Heart: Restores one of SoL's health points!
Paintcan: Green paintcans replenish a drop of the player's paint; however, paintcans of other colors will actually cost the player paint instead!
C In some rare occasions, a CD will appear instead of a normal item. These special items are worth a whole 8000 points and will add a CD to the player's music collection! With the CDs you collect, you can change the currently playing music at any time from the pause menu.

Dangers:
SoL will encounter many dangers on his straightforward journey, including multitudes of different enemies, bottomless pits, and the ever approaching Curtain of Void behind him!
The life meter, represented by hearts, tracks SoL's current health. Grabbing Heart items will replenish lost health, but touching any of the numerous dangers will deplete it. When SoL's health reaches zero, it's game over!
Enemies: Many members of the land's population have come out to prevent SoL from reaching his goal of greenness. Touching them will cost the player 1 health point, though the player can paint them green to render them harmless (and earn points). There are many different enemies in this game, and some of them behave differently: some may simply walk at their own leisure, while others will specifically chase after SoL; others may choose to move in more unconventional ways!
Pits: The transportation department doesn't make enough revenues, so the roads have been left with some occasional bottomless pits. Falling down one of these will end SoL's quest immediately!
Curtain of Void: For whatever reason (maybe pollution), a giant green cloud is following SoL, always at the left edge of the screen waiting to consume him. Touching this will certainly not yield pleasant results!



Main Menu:
Here, the player can begin playing the game or enter the Options Menu.
The player can also adjust the starting difficulty level with the left and right arrow keys.

Options Menu:
From the Options Menu, the player can access several different available options.
Highscores: Here, the player can view previous highscores in the game. These highscores are saved between sessions, so they won't be lost when you leave the page.
Controls: The player can change the default keybinds of various actions in the game here.
Sounds: The game's global, sound-specific, and music-specific volumes can be altered in this menu. The player can also access the Music Select menu here, as well.
Credits: The player can view the game's credits here.
Clear Data: This clears all the saved data for the game. Note that there are no confirmation warnings or anything, so be careful not to press this on accident!

+ Google Chrome(the screen is blurry, and sounds are unsynchronized)
+ Opera (no sound)

The game does not work in Internet Explorer or Safari.
Note that the game requires a keyboard and is intended for PCs.
