I got a couple suggestions.
- Remove the Other genre from all customs. Customs are not games, so they shouldn't have a genre and as it is right now they feel out of place in between all the real games.
- I don't want customs to disappear thought when browsing by genre, so I suggest creating a new No Genre "genre", that sits below the Other genre. Anything that does not have a genre is in there. This includes customs and games that don't have a genre yet. Idealy the customs should be the only thing in there once everything is sorted properly.
