I remember that in mario & luigi superstar saga the bareheaded mario and luigi sprites have foreheads similiar to my critique and changing the forehead is not extremely important, but more like nitpicking.

I prefer the previous collar, it looked more cartoony, the new collar (especially when it's not attached to peach's dress) looks like a moustache and now I can't unsee it

Mario's new hair tufts look nice and I think the creases of Peach's dress look a litte bit short.
