I've been playing a wonderful and adorable indie game I found during steam's winter sale, called Wuppo. It's a fantastic exploration platformer with excellent writing and world building. Each area you visit is packed with personality and full of dynamic characters moving about the screen living their lives, its really impressive to see. It went so far that to get on a train you actually have to get a ticket, and wait in line for 5 minutes and then wait for a cleaning crew to clean the train before you can get on. I know something like this isn't for everyone, but I just love this kind of world building.
It's games like this that show the silver lining in steam greenlight's mountain of crap.
