Currently saving up to finally buy myself a Playsation 4.

In the meantime, I've decided to do a Resident Evil franchise playthrough, because why not. I'm currently about half way through the Resident Evil 1 Remake Remaster and I plan on playing through all 7 main line entries, Zero, Code Veronica, and the Revelations games.

I forgot just how great the Resident Evil 1 Remake is. There really isn't any reason to play the original version anymore aside from nostalgia or the 'magnificent' voice acting. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing due to a combination of beautifully rendered backgrounds, excellent use of angles and lighting, and the unsettling soundtrack. I can't tell you the amount of times the game's made me jump at my character's shadow or reflection in a window.

The highlight so far is absolutely the small residence outside of the mansion that is full of giant bugs and plant 42. The underwater shark tank in particular, has probably the best piece of music I think I've ever heard in a Resident Evil game.
