Before continuing, sorry to hear about what happened to Reuben. His Samus collab with ShinRyoga looked REALLY great. >:

and true these are just recolors
but these are useful for flash animation / spriting etc....

And and a redraw of the Ryu sprites would take some time

What AkumaTH is trying to say is that if you submitted these to TSR, they'd be denied based on the fact that it's simply a recolor of an existing sheet (in this case, Dazz's)

What MIGHT help your case is starting from scratch, and using Dazz's rips as a base. Provide a color swatch for the colors you used to create this, AND THEN create some unique animations from the assets provided on the sheet based on Reu's  MUGEN character (while, at the same time, including the arms and legs, and body that you used to create them)
Examples of this would be like...uhhhh
- Ryu grabbing his head, trying to fight off the Dark Hadou
- Ryu reeling back, giving into the Dark Hadou
- Some of the moves and supers that Reu's Evil Ryu does

That way, while it's still a recolor, you'd have a unique submission which people could use for their Flash animations/projects, AND it'd also be a more heartfelt tribute to Reuben Kee in the process since it's not just a set of recolored sprites.


@Kosheh That was explained perfectly. and I appreciate the advice on the topic as well from all the staff and other members, as to why it didn't go through it's very organized and I've been doing flash animation for a little over a year now and I get most of my sheets from here. I Appreciate the Critique. They have been 2 of my favorite characters from the first I downloaded mugen. I was like why nobody doing these type of customs lol

I juss thought somebody would think it'll be dope lol but i'll get to working on the animation and construct my own sheet Given The template Dazz Provided
