I just tried bsnes+ and I must say, the way how it handles the updated VRAM is pretty neat, it's basically an emulator with integrated vSNES functions and an auto-updater as you play.
What I don't like is that all colours are slightly off, even the vSNES palettes differ from the bsnes+ palettes, with the latter one displaying the colours slightly brighter.
I guess this is how it goes with every emulator, just being slightly off colour in comparison to each other.
Therefore I decided that I stick with ZSNES 1.51, it's the emulator I know and the one which works best for me.
But if I just want to play SNES games and not rip them, every other emulator is better since the ZSNES window max resolution on my GTX 1060 is 1600x1200 pixels, which is not the optimum for a 4k monitor.
