Hello, I'm close to a complete newbie to this stuff, so I don't know if this is even the right place to ask, but here it goes
I'm trying to see if it's possible make to a Nioh & Nioh2 mod that lets you (the player) use some of the NPC's skills/moveset.
Can this tool (or maybe you are aware of other tools) dump game files that document the player's and NPC's movesets, or files that tie/instruct how their animations are used/triggered?
I am aware that this files use the .datatable format, and I suspect that only taking code/data from this sort of files and transferring it from NPC's moveset .datatable to the player's might be enough for instructing the game to play a specific NPC move/animation on the player's model. It's kind of like transferring skills/moves from NPC's pool to player's pool.
The player model-skeleton should be compatible animation-wise with the NPC's skeletons.
Again, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I don't know where to look. I tried searching extensively for other tools that dump .datatable format gamefiles from KoeiTecmo but didn't find much.
