G1M importer with animations
#16
Thank you, it seems to have worked!

EDIT: OK Maybe I'm quite dumb, but the script doesn't seem to want to use the animations..

You need to put everything you want to load (your model and anims, texture if you want) in the same folder. Select the first option (merge all assets) and open the g1m file.
Some HW anims are broken, I'll go back to them at some point, there are a few semantics that I had wrong

Oh! I didn't realize they were broken, that must be why. I'll try again with Atelier Ryza then. I was sure I had that Merge all assets button clicked...

Figured it out, Joschka. I had "only models when merging" checked lol

is there a guide out there that shows you how to rip models and animations from Dissidia Final Fantasy NT models into 3ds max? I would like a tutorial on how to do this! Thanks in advance!

Hello, I'm close to a complete newbie to this stuff, so I don't know if this is even the right place to ask, but here it goes

I'm trying to see if it's possible make to a Nioh & Nioh2 mod that lets you (the player) use some of the NPC's skills/moveset.
Can this tool (or maybe you are aware of other tools) dump game files that document the player's and NPC's movesets, or files that tie/instruct how their animations are used/triggered?
I am aware that this files use the .datatable format, and I suspect that only taking code/data from this sort of files and transferring it from NPC's moveset .datatable to the player's might be enough for instructing the game to play a specific NPC move/animation on the player's model. It's kind of like transferring skills/moves from NPC's pool to player's pool.
The player model-skeleton should be compatible animation-wise with the NPC's skeletons.

Again, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I don't know where to look. I tried searching extensively for other tools that dump .datatable format gamefiles from KoeiTecmo but didn't find much.

I wonder about Monster Rancher 1, 2, 3, 4, & EVO, if the tool could work on those since those are made by Tecmo, which later merged into Koei Tecmo.
