Hahaha!! To prove what goemar said, i will pop here my first pixel art...heh... i spent 3 hours on it... i will edit, 5 mins

i mispelled 7... = D
Now compare with my sig? I thought i was never going to do pixel art and was always blabbling how others are good.. now look at me...(not literally)
That was some years ago. I gave up, and only tried again recently, but this time i had the dedication, pretty much like you. I went and created lots of sprites, i studied them, and i improved dramatically. I think the essence of spriting is perseverance. know those car games where you start to slowly accelerate and then you accelerate more, and more, and... you won. Pretty much like it. and, if you stop, remember your acceleration resets too? you grow colder and still? you are doing the exact opposite. you are accelerating.
now, i improved dramatically in the course of my spriting life. that was my attempt at aya brea 3 years ago. i said 3 years. So, your dedication will be doing wonders to you...!
You do have dedication. now go study other sprites ^^'
and do small stuff ^^'²
