Villager does seem best, since it's suppose to be representing Animal Crossing, which has a bunch of options for creating your own villager character, hence why the name being vague helps cover the bases....

........I just confused myself.

EDIT: Personally, I'd enjoy playing as Tom Nook if not the Villager.

I still think Villager is the best name.

Yes simple and to the point many people were using that to begin with anyway. Why not. Its no more generic than "Pokemon Trainer"

I should get shot for that.
Well hell, why not just "Smasher" or "Smash?" (Think Pokemon's "Red" or "Blue," and every other color they used as the Main Trainer's name...)

But seriously, Koopaul has a good point, Villager's just as Generic as Pokemon Trainer, and it's Gender Neutral...Which only matters if you wanted to make the Alt. Costume the Female.

In retrospect, "Smashvillager" doesn't really sound all that bad.

I mean, think of it. New Yorker is a commonly used way to describe a person who lives in New York. Leerdammer (the cheese) is named as such because it comes from Leerdam, and in the Netherlands you can call somebody who lives in Leerdam a Leerdammer, just as you can call people from Amsterdam Amsterdammers.

So, yeah.

Throwing in my vote for Sukapon.

Aside from how much ass he kicks, my main reasoning is that his only game was a fighting game, and a pretty damn good one at that.
His special moves from that game fit nicely into his B moveset here, and his design is hilariously simple.

I voted for Sukapon because of his significance as the first main character of a nintendo fighting game. My top 3 for this would be Sukapon, Villager, and Ray. Ray Mk III could have at least the color schemes of the other Rays if we decided not to do the different color choices for the body like in the game itself.
