I lol'd SO HARD. Doesn't look like they're doing anything particularly new with Transformers (although setting it on Cybertron is a good way to cut down on idiot humans cluttering up the goddamn story, I spent all of Revenge of the Fallen waiting for Megan Fox to fucking die), but I'm gonna keep an eye on this. Not gonna let myself get excited until I see gameplay footage or Unicron, though.

they're doing something new plotwise. people have generally just gone with whatever transformer show's running at the time/attempting to revitalize the g1 plot. This one's making a prequel and filling in a plot point that was never really explained or left intentionally ambiguous. plus the new designs look badass
