Yes, but that was probably due to limitations at the time. The manga version uses whole arms, so we had to decide between the two.

oooooh that's where that came from. When I saw the small picture before I figured you'd drawn two versions, I didn't realize that was the original (that does explain the little link that I thought looked out of place). Ahhh... it's been too long... I just read the name "dark dragon" and it didn't ring a bell at all (goes to show, don't read 2 different threads with the same theme at the same time). Some reason I thought it was supposed to be a new enemy.

It's looking good. The ball arms would be best as mentioned. If you plan to use the same gameplay, having full arms drawn would limit the angles at which they can reach, unless you plan on making so many sprite segments to fit a wide range of movement. Even then, on top of the artwork - who do you want to have spend the time coding that mess. It was a relatively short segment it was used for too, just doesn't seem like an efficient use of someone's time unless you were going to redo the battle to make it much more involved. Realistic arms just aren't a necessary component for the fight. It's not like you're trying to top Vanillaware.

I'm not sure if Nintendo ever used Odin Sphere's kind of multi-sprite animation in a game.

Hmmmm
His tail is giving me a lot of trouble. Mainly the belly scales.

OMG IT'S A GENIE

Nice work there man. Shape could use a touch of work, but still pretty good.

Belly scales shouldn't be that hard, just draw a line corrisponding somewhat to the outline, then draw curves across.

I'm still trying to get an idea of a good color scheme form Dark Dragon Onox, but this one seems to be very popular so far.

Still a WIP, blah blah blah

EDIT-[Image: fffffffffd.png]

I'm not happy with the horns, or teeth. I think it may be due to the fact that the shades go from white to light gray to dark gray. I'm going to work around with it to get more interesting shades.

I still think the Gerudo emblem should be somewhere on him, but I'm not sure where.

EDIT- I just reaised that even if I did make it like this, his tail would be too long, so I'm going to redo the tail...

again.

Okay, well I'm going to finally contribute again instead of sitting at the sidelines. I tried making different directions for Link since Chaoxys couldn't seem to do it, how'd they turn out?

HEY! I said that I only wanted to make the front at the time. I tried a quick side view, asked if you wanted to fix it up, then went onto Onox.
