Hey this is the Sheet of Yusuke Urameshi by my friend Luka for my game (That still needs some help)



Please ask before you use because most of these moves are custom by him. Thanks

If you are wondering it is in a modified DBZ:LSW style with shading... I will try to post up the specials as I finish the effects.

So do you guys like it or should I tell him to edit it abit cause I think it looks awesome but I would like some opinions?

Im still going to make this game and Im gonna try my best to make it the best 2D Yu Yu Hakusho game around.

The purpose of asking for comments is to see what's wrong with your work so you could fix it, not to cover your ears and start stomping on the ground when you don't get what you want.

Shading issues aside, the sprite doesn't looks much like Yusuke, for example it's battle style it's just a recycled LSW mesh that doesn't includes any of Yusuke trademarked moves like his Rei Gun (not much difficul to do) or his machine gun punches.

So yeah, while the sheet isn't bad per se, it's still a long, long way from being "awesome" as you claim.

I was not stomping the ground nor covering my ears (that guy in all sincerity is a jerk I told him it was the style of DBZ Vortex and yet he still made fun of my work calling it shit) ... It is not pillow shading pure and simple and also it is not a normal old LSW sheet tricked out. And in my genuine opinion it does look like Yusuke and these moves here are custom



And the moves you are reffering to are the Spirit Gun and he never had a machine gun it was his Spirit Shotgun. And I just need to add the effects to those ones then I will post them up ok sound good?

Im no expert on YYH, but Im pretty sure he meant he punched in the style of a machine gun. He is saying that basically youre using moves found in LSW and not his trademark moves. And Im afraid to say, there are several parts where there are pillow shading (as if the light source is emitting from the middle) such as on the legs and arms. And by saying "its the style" is not an excuse Im afraid to say, and even if it was, to make sprites the best they can be, sometimes it's best to modify the style. If this style indeed calls for pillow shading on the limbs, you should take liberty and palce a set light source so the sprite will be the best it can be.

You just said that the one who did the sheet was your friend Luka, not you. A few posts later, you go and claim this sheet as "your" own work.
Please select one version and stick to it.

PS: you can downrep me all that you want, but if you excuse your pillowshading and call it the "style" of your game and you dont even own this and its a terrible recolor/edit then what the fuck are you doing asking for comments and feedback. you shall instead rename the thread as "looking for praise and acclamation".

PS: if the rest of the game is as ugly of this sprite then i have no hope for it.
