Politics and Culture.

So, I was just wondering. What am I going for? Hilary, Obama or McCain.
I mean, one is a clinton. One is a liberal and the other is just the guy I might vote for. But other than that. I want to know if you guys are into politics or even the culture of different nations and such.
Filipino, and some Chinese like 5%. Then that's it.
What about you guys?

I'd vote for Ron Paul for President if I was old enough to vote. He is better then McCain, Hillary, and Obama. I'm normally a democratic too.

I'm not so much into politics, but since it's my first time being able to vote, I'm kind of paying attention...Sort of, but not so much

Let's start out with Obama. A lot of people like him, but I kind of think he's just a smooth talker. There's just something that, to me, makes him seem untrustworthy. And before anyone says anything, it's not about the whole 'black' thing, and yes, I've seen the race card dealt many times at my expense for saying I don't like him...He seems to have an Alternate agenda, at least that's what I think...

Next up, some Hillary time...If I didn't register as independent and went Democrat like I was originally going to(changed my mind, it's complicated why)this is who I'd be voting for in the primaries. It's true I don't like either of the Democratic candidates this time around, but I'd be voting for the lesser of two evils, in my opinion, of course. I hate how she's booed for bringing some stuff up, while if Obama did something like that, he'd get a standing ovation...

I'm not saying they both don't have excellent points on some of the issues, it's just that I don't think we can really trust either of them with the country...

Finally, the man I'll be voting for, McCain...Yeah, yeah, boo, old man. But seriously, I think he's the only one that has said something to help our troops out while they're still over there, and in my opinion, that's what's most important right NOW. He's not just going to bring them back right away, which could screw things up(or so they say)but he's really the only one I've heard say something about doing something about the troops over there, like making sure they have more supplies and are well taken care of. Some say 'it's George Bush's Third term' I respectfully disagree...

But this Election is just electing the one that sucks the least, and I believe it to be McCain

Either way this election goes, we could still be headed into another depression, and the next president could go down as another Herbert Hoover...Which of course would, in theory, lead to another Franklin D. Roosevelt

I highly support Obama over other candidates. The only thing I actually don't care for about him, is he wants to cut funds from NASA - For use in education. Thats alright, I'd just rather if the funds came from elsewhere. People undermine NASA's importance far too much.

Clinton has clear trust issues, and this shows in her policies, and McCain.. I just can't say I agree with him. He's much too conversative for my tastes and I would honestly be very dissapoined if he were elected. I could deal with Clinton, but I personally support Obama.

Barack Obama is like the best candidate, in my opinion. I think the country needs a liberal president right now. John McCain just doesn't seem to know what he's doing with the economy, with his economic advisor being lobbied by big banks. The war should have never happened, and I can't support anyone who wants to extend the meaningless fighting that will not solve anything for a while. There's not gonna be a point when we can easily leave, so we might as well leave before losing more soldiers and wasting more money. Guerrilla warfare is going to go on there as long as we continue to support Israel and Al Qaeda hates us. The best solution is just to allow the Iraqis to do what they want.

Not to mention the man says he's a moderate, but he really votes with his party 98% of the time.

If Paul Wellstone (from my homestate, Minnesota, and a good man) weren't dead, I'd vote for him.

But real candidates? Hilary's speeches are a bunch of tag lines strung together, and I do NOT want to hear that squawky voice reporting from the oval office. And we don't need ANOTHER person becoming president because of a prior president.

As for mccain? meh. He's really no different than all the rest, and he has shown to be indifferent on most issues.

I have nothing against obama, if anything I support him because unlike most he started at the bottom rung, just a nothing in the lowest part of chicago. it makes him seem more real, and it brings his appearance back down to earth.

If I was old enough to vote I would vote for Obama, but if he doesn't get nominated (lol yea right) then I'll vote for McCain. Basically, not Hilary. She's a bitch!
