I am SORELY disappointed.

Here comes a Remade FF4 WITH VOICE ACTING. Yet they can't do the same for Chrono Trigger like...I'm baffled.

Why not just put Chrono Trigger on a DS SNES Emulator flash cart and play Chrono Trigger DS TODAY?

so you're saying you're disapointed because SQUARE isn't remaking Chrono Trigger with VAs and deciding to put the money on their budget on something better?

Voice acting will destroy the game in my opinion.
After playing the original so many times, I don't want to listen to Marle's or Lucca's voice.

Also, Crono has no voice.

And this game is perfect as-is. It doesn't need any fancy new-fangled three dimensions!

Then why does it even need a port? Why not just get the PS1 version? Or get a SNES emulator for DS or PSP?

I find an internal struggle, because I have the PSX version on my PSP so I mean it's not like you can't already get the mobility of beating Lavos on his day already.

Why the appeal? Because it's on the DS? Because it'll have an extra dungeon? That's enough for the port?

Also, Chono doesn't need a voice, I've plyed Chrono Trigger. I love Chrono Trigger, but obviously not enough to justify a port that seems so lacking in comparison to a certain roman numeric series that is pulling out all the stops. People hate Final Fantasies now why not use the technology they used on 4 and put it into CT? That's all I'm saying.

You just answered your own question there.

Djanjo, have you ever heard of the concept called "Money Making"?
Well, for people who don't know about emulators, and never had an SNES, they're giving the people with a DS a chance to play the game.

Never mind my opinion on the matter is getting redundant.

Chrono Trigger is going to be great woo-hoo go Square...

Was gonna get it either way. Prefered it to have some more effort to be put into it than just a port.

FFS. I'm tired of people calling this a port. No DS game can be a port. Porting something is just changing code to suit the other console. The DS has 2 screens, therefor nothing on it can be classed as a port, unless one screen was off for the entire duration of the game. There has also been extra content confirmed.

This is a remake.

Yes remake, based on hardware I understand that it'll take more than just switching up code to put this game on DS.

I also understand "touch screen capability" and "extra dungeon", but what does that add up to in comparison to The World Ends with You? Or if were going to be talking in terms of remakes FFIII or FFIV?

This feels lazy by comparison, that's what Unknown is saying.
