Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure (DS) combines Tetris Attack / Puzzle League-style puzzles with the platforming genre, and I highly recommend it.

In terms of pure puzzle genre, Meteos and Lumines for sure, not sure beyond that.

Although there are like fourteen million of those horrible puzzles where you have to measure out liquids using three different sized jugs and I. HATE. THEM.

Damn those jugs! Only 'puzzle' game I've played for ages is Critter Crunch, but that's more your traditional puzzle game.

The basics of I.Q.
Press a button to activate a 'spot'.
Press that button to deactivate that spot.
If a block is on that spot, it is destroyed.
There is another button that speeds up the blocks' movement.
When you destroy green blocks, it creates a green spot on the map. There's another button that you can use to destroy blocks in a group when there is a green spot on the map (3x3 grid shape).
When a black block is destroyed, one row of blocks at the end will destroy itself-- making it harder to solve puzzles. In the early stages, it's not much of a problem. However, you'll notice the changes later on.
If you don't react quickly enough or something happens that causes the blocks to run you over, they will automatically go full speed over you and fall off the edge. This is punishment if there are black blocks in the clusters, and a guaranteed death if you're on the edge of the level since blocks on the floor will destroy themselves faster than you can run.

Accumulating Points
The goal of the game is to destroy four waves of blocks. When you destroy four waves, you get an end-stage bonus depending on how many ground rows are left. (1000 points for each row)
You can earn bonus points by destroying blocks "under par" (The fraction in the top-right).
The bottom number is how many moves you have to do to be under par. (The blocks moving once counts as a turn)
The top number is how many moves you have currently used.


tl;dr do whatever you can to destroy the regular and the green blocks, don't destroy the black blocks. The green blocks' "grid destruction" function are practically key to playing the game.

IQ was ok. I think I played the PSP version (wasn't there a second one?) just wasn't really my thing.
