Hey so, I don't know if anyone has done this.
But I wanted to take a break from studying.
I also know this is kinda a bump.
I haven't sprited anything in a while so... we'll see how it goes.

Hello, I am new here but I really love these revamps. Is there a tutorial somewhere that teaches me how to make these devamps? With different poses and everything so they won't look like simple recolors of their original sprittes?

There's a lot of 3rd, 4th, and 5th gens I want to devamp.

Well i gues u just get a sprite off here or wherver and zoom in on it in paint, now right beside it redraw it in a new pose. now colour that new pose in a G/S/C way. hope i helped

Er...
what I did was look at the official art of the pokemon, and took two colours, plus the black and white from a crystal pokemon sprite.
Just look at the other sprites to see how to shade it, how to make the lines, etc.

No offense, NICKtendo DS, but those Poochyena and Mightyena sprites look like they're RBY-like, not GSC-like. Not a good idea to post RBY-like sprites in this thread, since the main objective is to post GSC-like sprites.

Speaking of, how am I doing on redoing the lake trio? I just did step 3.

Even with those outlines, I can see a lot of jagged curves; those tails especially.

I just worked on steps four through seven. And if the final sprites are not good, can somebody else do a better job than I can?

Step four: More details. Color used: Green.

Step five: Final details. Color used: Black.

Step six: Erase steps one through four.

And the end result, step seven: Apply the pallets.

They are grey because they are. If that's not the issue, then I have no idea what you are talking about.

Forgot I finished this a while ago. I may make a dew tweaks here and there soon, but overall I think it's not too bad.
