Also, are you using floats to store screen coordinates? Because some graphics (like the 2nd from last block in the 3rd screenshot) look like it.
If so, I'd suggest cutting off the decimal value/rounding down as opposed to rounding up. Either that or store the screen coordinates in an int.

This looks awesome! I hope this turns out good
One suggestion: Maybe make the backgrounds a bit more detailed becuase with the bigger screen size it looks a little bare.
Other than that it looks really good so far! Good luck!

soon, just spending most of my time mashing keys/intentionally trying to break physics to to fix bugs, from my experience in playing any fan game even a tiny little physic bug will instantly make you aware you're playing a MMF2 game and ruin it straight away, I think alot of people can agree on this.

Yeah, I'm that duck guy from MFGG
And yeah, I'd rather wait one year for a great game than get an unpolished game right away.
Do you have remade versions of the music too?

Yeah, I did some myself, a friend did a couple, the rest were pulled from random sources from the internet, most remade music I found out and about on youtube/newgrounds etc was really bad tho.
