attempting to get back into pixel art for the umpteenth time

oh, uh, my name's Dan. i've lurked pt and this site since i was like 9 or something but i've always been horrible at spriting. i got a little better at drawing recently so now i think i have something to work off of. if you have any helpful links, send them to me or something. i really don't know where to start.
