Inappropriate Names

I think a 9 year old could distinguish right from wrong (as long as it isn't some kid who whines about it).

After reading some stuff at the newspapers, internet and remembering some of the kids I met when I was 9 I'd say...No. Not at all. Actually, I've met 25 years old and older that got some pretty twisted concepts, but that's another conversation altogether.

I really don't get why are you guys whining so hard. If it was, like "Don't use copyrighted images as avatars" then we all would be in trouble (most of us anyway).

To be honest, all of those names can even make some people not want to go to the site in the first place, because it makes some really bad first impressions.

Not just inappropriate names, pointless ones as well. Even if it is an inside joke or something that's not inappropriate, those are just as bad inappropriate names.

Not just inappropriate names, pointless ones as well. Even if it is an inside joke or something that's not inappropriate, those are just as bad inappropriate names.

And Lexou you shouldn't complain about things in the Spamhaul. Its a SPAMhaul. They have the right to do what they do there. Now outside the spamhaul is another story.

but see the problem with this site being frequented with children and pre-teens is that

the terms of registration clearly state you need to be at least 13
so anyone young enough to be offended by a picture like that wouldn't/shouldn't be allowed here in the first place

Sure it doesn't stop them from browsing, but it stops us from catering to little children. If you want to lie about your age, then by all means do it. Just remember to keep lying and not suddenly go back to 10 again later when being 13 inconveniences you.

A fun fact is that everyone is going to deal with assholes, on any sort of internet community and in real life. Everyone can ether deal with it, ignore it or just leave. It's all in the matter if a person can adjust to it.

Every community will have a bunch of assholes from time to time, TSR does have a few of them but it's not like it was as bad as Pixetendo 2-3 years before it shut down because the longtime members there have become more mature, sure they'll probably get frustrated with members like Iceman-404 or Pikmin Awesomeness but that doesn't mean it happens to every member on here.
