You haven't used contrast in the same way on Larvitar as on the others. It might fit better if you just leave the second shade on the side of his head.
The shading seems to end abruptly on the side of his head btw:

I tried to change the shape of the fins because I thought the angle was wrong (I think I failed too but just pointing it out so you can fix it)

the outstretched arm looks like a noodle and that's the one thing that bothers me about that Magby sprite
replace it with a riolu heh

Castform is

well, I hate castform too and there is almost nothing you can do to make it look decent in any drawing
plus it looks like its feet are fused together



I'm liking how that Zangoose is turning out, though !!
