i don't really see the problem with callin' yall sires
see, "sires" is the internet's version of "nigga": a derogatory word doubling as a term of affection. but a sir has to earn his title through the hard time of internet labor. at this point, esp. in spamhaul this is far from condescending. as you said, it's simply a way to address the masses: "hey sires, read this"
although the sharp nature of the word's slightly intact because the person is more likely to read the post

and it's not so much "what he means" anyway, it's more a bitching about how people are now overusing the word.
i guess you can call it a pet peeve of mine.

And then all of a sudden it's a gay insult. And NOW it's simply a way of addressing people on the internet. I'll be sure to say "Hey sir" next time my dad signs into MSN.

And I hate people using i instead of I. Or in your case, as you can obviously not find your shift key, using any capital letters at all.
