i'm looking into how to host stuff like this myself. i'm pretty sure i know what to do but sometime this week if anyone wants to test it for me that'd be awesome.

I just figured out how to get rid of these goddamn Deoxys! I need one of you to trade with me! It will apparently get rid of the capsules through trading, and thus they'd get sent to you and you can do whatever you want with them. I'd recommend releasing them, because their stats are all garbled, and I couldn't even consistently hit a level 11 ditto with ANY of his attacks, despite being (allegedly and only sometimes) Level 159.

According to Bulbapedia:

If a Pokémon whose Poké Ball has a Capsule is to be placed in the Pokémon storage system, the capsule must be removed. Likewise, when a Pokémon is traded, the capsule will automatically be removed.

The problem is that since I don't have any capsules made and it magically HAS a capsule attached, I can't take a capsule OFF it. This prevents it from being deposited and released, but it automatically REMOVES capsules through wifi trading! I WOULD do this through GTS offers and give somebody else the crappy deoxys, but he has a Classic Ribbon, which, according to Bulbapedia:

This ribbon is attached to several event Pokémon, and prevents trading the Pokémon on the Global Trade Station. Normal wireless and Wi-Fi trading and battling are not prevented. The description is "A Ribbon that proclaims love for Pokémon."

So I can't GTS trade the capsule off, but I CAN wifi trade.

So... anyone need a Deoxys for pokedex purposes? If you take one off my hands, I can give you one of the other legendaries I have too. Check out my stock thread. And if it turns out that you get a capsule balled Deoxys you can't get rid of as a result, I'll let you trade them to my Diamond game so I can keep them until I either get a AR to change them and get rid of them, or until I restart my Diamond game, which I may eventually do.

Provided it won't do any actual damage to my game I wouldn't mind taking one off your hands. Want anything in particular in return or can I just send over something I have stowed away in a box since you're just trying to rid yourself of them?

Well other than the fact that the Deoxys itself is royally screwed up, I don't think it will do any damage. I just traded one over, I'm waiting to see if he's okay. xD

EDIT: Trading it eliminates the ball capsule problem I was having, but I don't know if his stats become normal. If you wanna help me out, just trade me any spare pokemon you got. My info's in the Trade thread.

The one you traded me appears as Lv.159, but when you go into stats its Lv.31.
Dunno if it was like that before you trade, makes no difference to me though.

Yeah, I mentioned that in my larger post above. It is a level 159 pokemon that can't hit a level 11 ditto, and I can't get rid of them because of the magical capsule it has. xD I DO have NORMAL deoxys from the same source... Sending them to my box instead of my party kept them normal, level 50 and without capsules. Go figure.

I figured it out. I can give out clones of any evd pokemon or events i have.
