I really don't, I know sorted things about them, but mostly superficially (thanks to a couple of friends that really enjoy comic books and to tvtropes). I didn't know of She-Hulk or Spider Woman, actually. But it just sounded a lot like "hulk but woman" and "spider-man but woman". But even then, I know that I'd like a bunch of other characters instead. Gambit, Cyclops, the Ghost Rider, Blackheart/Mephisto, the Silver Surfer, Nick fucking Fury. I don't know how the Silver Samurai played in MvC2, since I've never played it, but he's a badass character.

capcom was going to put emphasis on characters that were created /after/ the year 2000 just to avoid overnostalgia'ing the whole thing.
