i think it's notable to mention that seasons 2 and 3 were animated completely in flash because everybody quit the production and the old team was replaced with an entirely new team and they lost almost all of their budget

I totally rewatched Zim recently
and it's way better than I remembered!
GIR shouldn't appear so often
but the show is still pretty okay!

The fandom did kind of ruin it. On the interwebs you can't say "I liked Zim" without everyone assuming you're about to go into a deluge of LOL MUFFINS AND SPORKS OF DOOM, TACO TACO TACO OMGWTFBBQ!!!! xD

Honestly this is basically what I meant, I liked it but it kinda got old after a while. Basically I like other things by Johnen Vasques better like I Feel Sick and Johnny as examples but it kinda like how I don't like naruto or bleach too much because of the fucking fanbase. (I honestly never really liked Naruto, and Bleach was ok if they stopped at the first storyline but nope, they had to keep going.)

Infact I don't like many people who also like anime or cartoon with such an impact such as invader zim because I honestly find them hella annoying because they won't such up about it for hours and it seems like they have no other interests.
