Custom Waluigi & Wario, WIP.

Hello there, I'm new to these forums. And I thought it would benefit me if I could get some helpful criticism for these two sprites.

Now as you can see it's a custom Waluigi & Wario.
As you can also see, they are not finished.

Before I go any further, could you tell me how to improve them?
All your experience would be appreciated.

wario is dithered, waluigi isnt. why?

Wario should be a bit pudgier, and his shoes should be green (unless it was intended). Plus, his teeth should be showing, as he's always grinning constantly.

That aside, they look pretty good.

All the above. Also, Wario's underwear is losing their buttons, and his face... I don't know, it don't looks like Wario. Try make it a little more mean looking, like Waluigi.
