Everything after Sonic Adventure 2 sucked. They're not just a few bad games.
Actually, everything after S3&K sucked IMO. The Chao Garden was the only good part from SA and SA2.

Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are awesome. The GBA titles are even better. The DS games are awesome too (I haven't played this one much yet). And Sonic Heroes was decent. I've heard Secret Rings was good.

The GBA games can't compare to what the old games were. They are, however, better than most of the 3D games.

In all honesty, I'm having a lot of fun with this game! The only advice I have is to give it more time than just the first few minutes. It starts out slowly and gets better as the game goes along.

It seems pretty split on the opinions. People either like it a lot (Nintendo Power and Game Informer), think it's good but not perfect (IGN, Eurogamer, Ngamer, and Gamepro), or hate it like you guys.

Me, I really like it. I do admit it's not perfect and has some flaws. But so far, it's a solid 8-8.5/10 for me. I need to play it some more to make solid judgment.

And before anyone attacks me for being a Sonic fanboy, I assure you I am not. I just happen to like the Sonic series, but I certainly won't defend the horrible games (like Shadow and Sonic 2K6). Now, a Kirby fanboy I am!

oh hey I'm enjoying this game and personally think it did justice in creating a Sonic RPG

Chao may not be great but it was a good way of implementing them

apart from the fact I'm always lost I'm actually enjoying it a lot

The game may seem bad but the way I think of it personally the more deeper the story the better the game gets and the fun it will have so im giving the rpg 4/5 or 9/10 if I should say the only thing I hate though is their eyes the size of that needs to change cause it seem that the eyes take up most space in the characters. So this is the score im giving the game.

Please dont get mad at me cause of the scores this my opinion of the overall score, I know that the game did got an gold award from Nintendo Power but since wat happen to Sonic 06 which that game mist up the Sonic Fun. I think now that the franchise will have the fun again. The only wifi is probaly chao like trading chao espacially the rarest chao (forgot wat they were called) seriuosly why would I want to trade a chao like that after everything I went through to get him/her. But the cutscenes do look good since I saw their behind the scenes on YouTube cause they just act like a comic book as shown in Secret Rings but Sonic Chronicles have better cartoonish comic like with moving pics in each scene.

Then you might as well cut out the middle man, and play a regular RPG. Although the gameplay is very un-Sonic, it crams a lot of universe canon information down your throat.

heh, i know i havent played the game but from wat i seen on YouTube and looks good I just did it cuz i was kind of bored i was just giving it some information bout wat i heard and the score are my personal opinion.
